How training works

  • Training costs 1 gold for every 0.1 of skill. Going from 0 to 30 costs 300 gold.
  • A trainer only takes you up to their limit. Past that you learn by use.
  • Training stops at your 700 total skill points. It never lowers another skill to make room.
  • Each ability needs a skill level before you can learn it. See Swordsmanship and Archery.
  • Gold comes from your pack, not your bank box.

Not sold anywhere

No trader sells shields, closed helmets, jewellery, tools above iron, or these weapons: spear, war hammer, quarter staff, battle axe, halberd, bow and crossbow. Some of them drop from monsters.
