About the game
In one line
Lastshard is a high-fantasy sandbox MMO set in the last world still lit, with no classes, open PvP and full loot.
In one paragraph
Lastshard is an independent high-fantasy sandbox MMO. Long ago one world was split into many mirrored shards, and one by one they went dark. Aldermere is the last shard still lit. Players are souls who escaped dying shards, and they arrive with nothing. There are no classes and no levels. Skills rise by use, so players become smiths, mages, sailors, tamers, thieves or lords by doing. Crafters make the gear, players build houses and towns, and outside the guarded towns anyone can attack anyone, with full loot and real consequences for murderers. The dungeons are pieces of dead shards that washed up in Aldermere. Lastshard is in pre-alpha, with closed playtests opening in waves.
