Foraging gathers what grows wild or in the fields. You don’t need a tool.
How to forage
Double-click a bush, apple tree or crop. Each attempt takes 2.5 seconds and costs 1 stamina. See How gathering works for the shared rules.

Where things grow
- Wildberries and herbs grow on bushes in the woods.
- Apples grow on apple trees in the meadows, on the farms and in town gardens.
- Wheat, flax and cotton grow in the fields. See The farmland.
Foraging and the deer
Each plant you forage also takes 4 units of grass from the patch the deer graze on, though it never strips a patch completely. Heavy foraging in one place can leave the local herd hungry.
Using what you find
Nothing can be eaten or crafted yet. Hedda the provisioner buys everything on this list. The herbs are expected to matter for magic later. See Magic and reagents.
